Getting into the groove of things in law.

I am in school 6 days a week. Every night feels like a finals night in terms of studying. I haven't been watching TV. I haven't been online. My money is all gone thanks to photocpying stacks and stacks of cases.I've learned to highlight readings in four colors at make notes in two. I've learned the basics of mooting. I've learned to always bring an umbrella. I know which profs suck, which are "terrors", which are "pretend-terrors", which are condescending, which are full of themselves, and which are truly brilliant. I have realized that studying law is the best form of exercise: I've lost 4lbs in a week.

Newest language learned: Legalese!

Unconsciously, law is entering into my daily discussions. COnversations amongst my blockmates are suddenly liberally sprinkled with things like "waha! mistake of fact yan!", "sige ka, ipamamandamus kita.", "how dare you act in bad faith!", "yay! ni-repeal yung quiz on monday!", and "i don't wanna talk about my ex. non-justiciable issue yon"

I went to my first rally at Mendiola! Yes, I stared down anti-riot polic holding water cannons and erecting barbed wire barricades. If you look very closely at the picture on the front page of Inquirer last Friday, you can see half my face hidden behind the IBP lawyers.

Why did I go? My consti prof made us an offer we couldn't refuse. Attend and get an automatic pass in his class.

sell out na kung sell out. This is a prof notorious for flunking half his class. haha.

Apologies to everyone for being incommunicado. Also, couldn't attend the Debsoc send-off coz I had to study. :(
