In two parts.
I dreamed that I was working at a desk at night. The desk was outside and on top of a mountain. I looked up and I could see the lights of the entire San Fernado Valley below. I turned to Sacher, who was next to me, and pointed, "Look over there, it's the Getty Center!" After some thought, I said, "You know, I think I'm going to work at this desk every night."
I dreamed that I had a Polo shirt I wanted to return. I drove with my brother Seth to a large shopping center on a hill where the stores were spaced very far apart and you had to hike to get from one to the other. I parked my car and we started walking. On the way we stopped at a jungle-themed store that sold colorful fuzzy shorts. I asked them where the Polo store was, and they pointed and said, "That way, like, waaaay that way. Really far that way." My brother decided he wanted some fuzzy shorts and stayed behind. I kept walking for a long time until I came to a shrine dedicated to Stanford University. Inside, there was a large red room with a gray stone pyramid in the center, and its stones were dedicated to different student groups and classes. An old, thin woman with frazzled red hair approached me. For some reason, I knew that she had helped to paint the walls of the shrine red. She started lecturing me on the immorality of Stanford traditions, and of Stanford students in general. She rambled on, telling me that God hated my generation and that we were all going to hell. Finally, Seth caught up to me and we left to go return the shirt.
