New MEP Commuinty!
Hey everybody, just dropping by to let you guys know about the new vidding community I’ve set up over at cherryb_mep .
Cherry Blossom MEP Productions is a Multi-Editor Project (MEP) community. If you’re asking, “What the heck is that?” the answer is simple; a MEP is basically a fanvideo that a group of editors work on together. Usually multi-fandom.
MEP groups are very common on YouTube, especially among the AMV editors, (which is how this vidder was first introduced to them). A lot of them are closed for members only, but there are a lot more that are opening up and allowing everyone to join. I thought it was about time that this wonderful idea moved on over to the vidders of LJ.
The community is open to all vidders and all fandoms. The details for our first project are up and we still have 2 spots that we need to fill before we can really get started.
So, come on over and see what we’re all about. I promise that we don’t bite.
