Not quite a month since I updated
I guess it's about time for me to update about what's happened since school began...
House is looking in good shape. We have running water and it's hot. I've got my cat back, and my furniture. We're thinking of having a housewarming party later this month. I'm back working at Penn, mostly with the same student as last year. However, this year I get to go to a Pre-Algebra class with a different student, as well as a few more academic classes with my main student (Geography, Painting, and Fitness). I got one of my high school friends hired on as a Program Assistant. I joined the PHM Fun League for bowling. Between that, the Fitness class, and the Adaptive PE class, I'm hoping my shape can approach something less close to "round" this year. I've started teaching at Ivy Tech, and had a performance review last night (with positive results).
I suppose the most exciting news of the moment is that I"M NOW AN UNCLE!!!
My oldest sister gave birth Tuesday. Hopefully I'll be able to get down to Texas over Christmas break to see the munchkin.
