i hate to jump on the bandwagon and update, but.....
this week has been very interesting. not only did i have 3 major tests (which i feel pretty good about), but i just found out that my sister's boyfriend of nearly 3 years proposed to her tonight. she called me and sounded so happy. it was wonderful. i like ben too. at first i didnt' care for him much, but now that i see him more often he's kind of grown on me. they're weird, but they're definitely a good match.
also, i talked to my mum tonight and she was telling me about how my little bro is giving up his band to do more drama stuff. for those of you who dont' know my brother, he's a hard core limp bizkit/korn/ICP fan, dyed black hair and painted black finger nails and all. the whole shabang. he and his band could typically be found in my driveway, singing (or perhaps it's considered screaming?) to the neighborhood. but he's in ooa's (small student-written plays at north) and is beginning to like it more and more. he wants to join the lights crew and such too. it's funny. plus, one member of his band has a girlfriend and another one goes to a different high school, so they weren't getting to practice as much anyway. we'll see where it goes, he was pretty set on becoming famous. i guess we'll just have to save that for another day.
oh, and for those of you who haven't heard, i now have a stalker. it's quite weird. i met him at a party last friday. he's a rather large guy, 25 years old and a senior studying astronomy (that's right kids, 25 years old and still doing undergrad...does anyone else see a problem with this?). i was pressured into giving him my number (he already had half of it written down, knowing i lived in the dorms) and boy do i regret it. he called me the next day, which i "wasn't here" for. he then called twice sunday, once i had melissa (my roomie) tell him i wasnt' here, second time i accidentally answered. he then asked me out and i basically told him i was busy until after spring break (think that's a big enough hint?). he then called on tuesday and didn't leave a message. wednesday, he called again, this time leaving a message inviting me to a party at his apartment complex and claiming "there'll be lots of bud". umm....yeah. i'm definitely not that kind of girl. so, i have yet to return his call, nor do i plan on returning his call, and i can only hope that he will pick up on the hints. if this goes on too much longer, i might have to let emily take over. if so, she will answer the phone for me, and tell him that i'm busy with my girlfriend (that's right, girlfriend) and that i'll have to call him back later.....think that'll work?
