good ol' time running a muck

i haven't written in quite some time so i figured i should, if nothing else to just let everyone know i am still participating in this whole deal. tonight was rather fun for me. i hung out with a bunch of people i hadn't seen in quite some time. for those of you who know any of them, it was eric, steven, laura, tom page, and sandra. i had been workign all day, but was really wanting to go to do something. so they call me up and ask if i'd like to join them for a game of bowling. why not? so i go out there and bowl my usual 80 or so (i never said i was good). we all head back over to laura's house, only eric decides to ride with me. at first this is a bit awkward (eric and i hadn't been alone since we broke up), but it was really quite nice. he and i talked the whole way there about life, catching up basically. we pulled up to laura's house to see that some one had had some fun with toilet paper. the suspect was not a question, we knew who it was. however, what revenge should they face? tom had great ideas about pouring water and toilet paper all over their cars so that the TP would freeze, chocolate syrup on thier windows, and fun stuff like that. but being the nice person she is, laura insisted we merely TP them, since that's all they did to her. we respected her wishes and drove to hy-vee and bought the ammo. the first house was easy, nice sized tree, dark house, you know the type. but then, out of no where, julie arises from her house. busted! we jet to the get a way cars and take off. the next 3 targets were much quieter, no interruptions in the attack. i felt like i was in high school all over again. running around in the cold, TPing houses, it was a grand ol' time. and it's not even so much what we did, it's just that i was with people i dont' go to school with, so i felt like i was truly using this break for a good cause: to catch up with friends i dont' get to see often. not to mention the fact that eric and i talked throughout out the whole night, making things a lot less awkward between us.
