Anyone think they overdid his space walk sequence? He doesn't seem like an ass normally, but he turned into one in a hurry by bossing Greer around -- and he'd be the last person on the ship whose bad side I would want to find.

I'm not sure what the point of the sequence was- other than to show off that they have a new shuttle to wreckplay with and that they have actually fixed the third suit. It felt a bit like it was a "oh we need something dramatic here and show off our shiny toys but we can't be bothered with coming up with a good plan so we'll put some people we won't be killing in peril" writing shortcut rather than actually good writing. *shrug* I thought Brody was good in it though.
Maybe it was originally scripted as Rush going but Bobby Carlyle refused to don the space suit again (he's threatened to burn them when the series has finished so that no other actor has to suffer them - I think they smell really sweaty), so Brody was substituted.
