Graduation

I am sure there is going to be an influx of posts about graduation, so here's mine.

Honestly, I am still pretty emotionless about it. I guess it hasn't hit me yet that my class is breaking up and going all accross the country, and that yesterday was pretty much our last day together.

We were all herded into the auditorium about an hour before graduation, and our pictures were taken. We then waited around as the teachers got there and schmoozed with them, Mr. Halliday asking why the hell we didn't have cap and gown, leaving Mo and I to simply shrug.

We then lined up, and walked in, lots of applause, some awards handed out, and Amanda Scott's valedictory speech was almost forgotten. It was a nice speech, and Lauren Galloway and Lisa Bateman's speech was amusing as well.

Unfortunately, that's really all I have to say... it was a fairly anti-climactic deal. I have my high-school diploma right here, but it still hasn't hit me that it is even summer yet... I am expecting to have to go to work next week, or something like that.

I might be closing down the LJ for a while. As you can see, my latest entries have been complete wastes, and even an entry that should be vastly significant, this one, about the culmination of high school, is a wasteland. I just realized I didn't even discuss my internship at FM99 at all. Damn. Maybe later.
