(no subject)
I wish I wrote more in this journal. I don't like looking at my calandar from last year and seeing all those empty days and wonder what was going on during that time in my life. I think one of my New Year's resolutions will be to write in my journal more often. I don't think it matters what it's about just as long as I write something down.
Well, today was a snow day here at Boston University. It is a very rare thing indeed. In fact it's so rare tomorrow we have to go to class even though every other school around, Northeastern, Berkley, UMASS, Emerson.... are all closed. Oh well. Tomorrow is an easy day for me any way. Except that I have to get up for class around 8:00. Blah
Didn't really do much today. Went outside for the first time since Saturday to check the mail which was empty, see if the gym was open, and pick up some EasyMac from CampCo.
I was in my room this evening when Andrew exclaimed from the common room that school was closed tomorrow. He claimed that he had seen Boston University was closed run across the bottom of the screen. So this obviously got us all excited and we went and checked the BU website and even the hotline number and both said that school was open tomorrow. Well, we wait to see if Boston University comes around again on the TV. This took at least 10 minutes because there were so many schools listed as closed and when B's come around again BU is NOT listed. However, it did say that "Boston" was closed.... What this means we don't know but according to Fox News the city is closed tomorrow. Anyway, we've been yelling at Andrew because he got us all excited and we were going to go on a beer run for tonight and everything, but alas all is lost.
Watched the extended edition of Return of the King. That is great.
I need to find a new website to freely host my pictures. The old one I used put a cap on it's space and I had over that cap and would have to go through and delete all the old ones and that is a pain in the ass so no way. Also I'm trying to figure out a way to get all my LJ entries onto my computer without copying and pasting each individual one. So far I haven't thought of or found a good way.
All in all it was a pretty boring weekend even though we got the 5th largest snowfall in Boston history. At least I think that's what Fox News was saying. But who know's with them. They think Boston is closed tomorrow.
