A new AR-15! Specifically, a Busmaster XM15-E2S, with a 20" bull barrel and an A2 receiver, chambered for 5.56x45mm. Two standard GI mags, and one Magpul PMAG in flat, dark earth. Along with all that, 210rds of Wolf .223 55gr FMJ. Had the pleasure of firing off a few rounds earlier today, and while the recoil is unbelievably tame, it barks pretty loud.
Now, it's not mine. I'm just holding it as collateral for a few weeks/months until a friend of mine has the dough to pay us back. A shortened version of the story is simply that my friend had to take his sister back to Georgia (Who had been visiting for awhile, but couldn't fly because there was way too much stuff to take back on a plane), and while they had enough money to get down there, they ran into some financial trouble and my friend has been stuck there for about two weeks with no money. Long story short, my dad and I sent him some cash so that he can come home, and we're just going to keep the AR for a bit until he can either sell it, or work up the money to pay us back. Everyone is happy, though. He's coming back tomorrow, I get a new rifle to play around with, and since he was planning to sell it anyways, things are going to work out for everyone.
