As my Deca vacation faded, I rapidly moved on to my two day FCAT vacation. Another two wonderful days to do absolutely nothing but to roll around in bed for countless hours, while listening to the sweet medley of all my favorite Beatle records emerging from my jukebox. Ahh, the beauty of it.
That of course only lasted till Wednesday when I was once again faced with having to wake up at 6am in order to attend beautiful Coral Park. Oh the excitement of a one through six day, and the unbeatable misery of having Art History first thing in the morning.
As I arrived at school, I had realized that I hadn’t been to a single class in a week. I was expecting to have a day full of gossip from the ladies and lots of giggles from FCAT beach-bikini-horror-stories. Soon enough however the day began to lag and by 3rd period I was willing to give up just about anything so that I could return (if only for an hour) to my wonderful vacation.
After what seemed like a thousand years the day began to improve as I arrive to my 6th period and realized that it was soon time to surprise Nick at the Water polo game. The bell rang. I was released.
I met up with Tina and headed out with Diana. After a quick stop at Chi chi’s house and at Potatoes Plus, we were bound Tamiami Park. Although this is the first water polo game that I have ever attended, I must admit that I did enjoy it. It doesn’t drag on forever like baseball or football and the concept is easy, so it’s not hard to keep up with. Regardless the game was fun. Tina and I got to watch a bunch of guys walking around in purple Speedos(which are strangely sexy :-), not to mention that Tina had a picture attack and spent the whole game taking pictures for the newspaper but I also got to meet and chit-chat with Nick's mom...However, most importantly Southwest beat Coral Park disgustingly.
I can’t wait for the weekend to arrive.
Till then- @ilyn
