bad LJ junkie
Been awhile since I've posted anything mare than "KILL!" So, here we are.....
Work has been interesting, lots of new faces, lots of training getting done. I've been used as a finishing school before sending people to the faster machines. It's insane how much I know, and didn't realize. Whenever someone points at a part, piece, thingamiajig etc, I have the answer for them, it just tumbles out of my mouth with no thought at all. I've worked for 2 years at GMCR now, and I've come a long ways from the line support I once was.
Got to go shooting a few weekends ago, that was much needed, sighted in my .22mag, YAY!!!! I know I'm going to use that rifle a lot this year. I almost don't need any other guns, but I'm gunna keep what I have anyways. I'm still trundling around in my truck, but am working on buying a car for fuel efficency's sake. Once I've done that, I want to get out and visit people, so if you miss me and want me to stop in, get in touch! Chances are I'd love to come see yea!
My father is stressing out big time, his wife's ma is on her last legs, so he's been spending a lot of time between here and CT. I can see it in his eyes, he's hurting bad, tired and needs someplace he can have a "vacation". Having said that, I can't wait to get the sailboat on the water.I want to build my own someday, a small one to start, so I can bump around and generally just have a low cost easy maintinance day sailer, I'm thinking cape style dory or something a little beamier for stability and cloth size.
That probably made no sense to some people out there, but you get my drift.
And I'm a lot closer to going back to school this fall! HOORAY! Lets hope I make it! I need to learn, my brain feels abused from lack of knowledge input. Bad enough I'm reading non-fiction and political science books!
Well, my end of the work day reward is gone(1 beer) so I need to shower and sleep. YAY! Night everyone!
