Hey there, i dont think it is legal to do so cos my cousin was in the trade awhile ago; importing gds from china& selling them at pushcarts. the police showed up awhile later and he was put out on bail. though he wasnt jailed, a police record is never a good thing.

I THINK they wouldnt inspect the goods at the customs, but one can never know esp with the recent hype abt terrorism etc. and to me it just doesnt seem worth it to sacrifice a clean record for good deals.

just my 2cents worth, hope it helps!

for that i have no idea, perhaps hula& co has a license for them to sell the fake a&f since there is no a&f flagship store in singapore, and wouldnt affect the business of the stores? as for those in fep, i think what they're doing is illegal, but cant be sure.

what i heard from my mom(who has a shop) was, you can own unauthentic products but you can't sell them(according to sg's law)
so, i guess if you ship in large quantities by air/sea its illegal.
but if you went overseas and brought them back for personal use, its okay.

as for flea markets, (eg. lime's scape flea market) they did state that you can't sell illegal products, or anything that is considered illegal to sell in sg. so if shipping them in is already illegal. i think selling them is def. illegal

i'm not sure abt hula & co. but pushcarts can be easily rent from malls management. and they dont really care about what you sell. (:
i've also come across with "factory-rejects" stores, they claimed everything was authentic, but when my friend(who works in one of those shops) told me, they were actually china/thailand imports and they are only fakes. i guess ppl just try to pass them off as factory rejects or what. haha, i dont know either.

well..the thing with A&F and some brands is that they sell factory overruns. e.g. too much production, or minor defects they'll sell them off to other pple at a lower price. so places like FOS in msia will buy up such pdts and re-sell them. so i think some stores in s'pore are into such stuff. so if u're doing that...i guess it's okay.
i dun think A &F wld give any licence to sell imitation goods..it's bad branding really.

side pt: if u think using imitation goods for personal use is okay, just be careful when u go to places like france. they catch pple in the airport for carrying fakes LVs and guccis.
