hi all,

this is a major warning to everyone, especially if you're new.

uhm, question. i leave my email address on my posts so people can email me directly if they choose rather than leaving comments. and i cross-post on sgsale as well, identical posts, so sometimes i have no idea where the deal is originating from. :/

if someone emails me directly, is it ok if i take it as an sgst deal?

i think it's better if you clarify that it's done through sgst. because if the person is from sgsale only and is not aware of our fb policy, it will only implicate you.

ooh. ok. thanks! :)

i think i'll just stick to my normal practise of not requesting feedbacks at all from direct email deals. i usually just take them as deals off my LJ anyway. :)

oh, and the other thing is... what if i honestly can't remember where the deals took place in the case of past feedback?

i only request feedbacks to be left for me from those deals that i'm 100% sure are conducted on sgst, but some may have slipped through and i really can't remember! :(

i left a feedback for a transaction but i can't remember if it's from sgsale or sgst..the seller left a feedback for me and she put it under sgst while i left one under sgsale..and you replied to my comment..do i have to ask the seller to delete?

yes please. if the name of another sales community can pop up in leaving fb, it's better to just clear it because it's highly possible that it was done through sgsale.

what if a buyer commented on sgsale post of a seller but later realised that both the seller and buyer are also from sgst, can we take it as sgst deal?

no. strictly over sgst only. thanks.

Hi can i just clarify - if someone makes a looking for post on sgst, and i mail her directly with my item, is that still considered a transaction through sgselltrade?

Thanks :)

say.. for eg there are links in each post linking to their personal lj and i bought sth this way. but she has posted the exact same post on sgst before but i never took notice at that time.

do i .. leave it as sgst? or do i remove it ? coz this happened like..eons ago, i happen to see that on my fb so i thought i better clarify.

i.e:

i post Y for sale today and linked to a sales post in my personal journal selling X. i posted X for sale 2 months ago.

that case?

it can be considered a sgst deal if X was posted on sgst for sale before.
