I was given a 360 for free (kind of)
I own an XBOX 360. Actually I don't like saying that... I don't own one, I have one. I'm scared of it, because it is a power-monger and it is so loud when I'm trying to play a game. It has like 5 fans on each side and I'm freaking out.
But I love Halo 3.
How did I get it? Don, my ex-Blockbuster boss who's daughters I teach science to, has this habit of buying/trading video games and consoles. This is like when he offered me a free PS3 and I was like, "No. Scary." Currently he has been finding and purchasing old systems like a black Sega Dreamcast for instance and selling it along with many games for big bucks. Um, so then he buys this 360 to play Virtua Tennis. Then I came over and he's like "Hey, take this so I don't have to pay you for a few weeks." And I was like "Um, do you have Halo 3?"
He had Halo 3. We had a deal; I took it. I don't think I'm going to buy any more games... 'cause I think I'd have to get XBOX Live to upgrade to be able to play Halo and Halo 2. Or I could just try them 'cause Anan has them. Stupid Microsoft. And I'm not going to get Guitar Hero II on it... I dunno how long I'm going to keep it... I only have one controller and I know a second one would be oh, $50 or something.
So now I am going to play Halo 3 all day. Then maybe I will shower and go to work this evening. :P
