Mat Honan got hacked.

If you're like me, that sentence means nothing. But if you read the article...it all comes into a bit better focus. This reporter got hacked, his computer and phone were wiped, his accounts were destroyed, and his Twitter(and that of Gawker) were taken over by the hackers. And all the hackers had to have to get started was his name and email. They call it social engineering, but really, it's using common sense to take advantage of people's habit of tying everything together online. If you're a big user of Apple, I really suggest you read it to help prevent something similar from happening to you. As he's stated, neither Apple nor Amazon(yep, his Amazon account was hacked too) have changed their policies as of yet, so it's on the user to make sure it doesn't happen to them.
