Day 15 - Favorite female character
I'm sure nobody saw this coming. Samantha Carter has been my favorite fictional character, period, for almost as long as I've been watching Stargate. She's confident and kickass and funny and gorgeous and I just love her, okay? I can't explain it. She's a fictional character, but she's a huge inspiration/motivation. Which sounds so cheesy and silly, but it's true. She was a smart woman, independent and yet thriving in the military. Her relationships never defined her entire story, and her awesomeness is impossible to eclipse. This is the woman who blew up a sun and kicked ass and defied gender stereotypes. She helped me realize that I could have my own dream and I could achieve my goals, and for that, well, I have to love her.
Day 16 - Your guilty pleasure show
Let me say, first of all, it is impossible to find pictures for this show that are not a) creepy as hell or b) photoshopped beyond all recognition. This is one of the very few that are not ridiculous. And it's still pretty iffy. Look at her hair. I just can't even. And that pretty much describes my relationship with The Vampire Diaries. It's fun and stupid and enjoyable and really my favorite thing to do is yell at the characters and make up fake conversations between Damon and Stefan, because they're so ridiculous. I think it was my first real enjoyable show after Supernatural, and so it was refreshing to have something to not take so serious and that had a good, solid plot every season(even if S3 was a bit weak). It has flaws(so, so many flaws), but I can ignore them and just enjoy it. I don't ship anyone(except maybe some mild Klaus/Caroline), and I have no strong feels about anything in particular, so I'm not super attached to anything.
