days 5 and 6; 30 days of TV
I saw Serenity. I cried. Ugly, ugly tears. I've been not watching it for years because I knew what happened and I didn't want to watch it, but I got talked into watching it with some friends, and ugghhhhhh ;______;
It's a very, very pretty movie, and I love how it feels epic and Firefly condensed and amazing, but I cannot handle the deathy stuff. I cried, but then I got mad, which is never a good sign.
That being said. The way they handled it (aside from Wash's actual death) was amazing. Book's death was fantastic; I didn't feel sad(er than necessary), because it felt important. And the big reveal, I hadn't known that; Miranda was just a name to me. Everyone was perfect. I loved it(aside from Wash's death), but I doubt I'll watch it again, because I'll get mad all over again.
Moving on.
Day 05 - A show you hate
I spent forever trying to figure out something that I actually hate, for reasonable reasons, and I just couldn't do it. I mean, there are general shows that I despise, but that's more for cultural and personal moral reasons specific to me rather than bad plots/storylines/whatever. Though as a rule I typically hate soaps, be they primetime or daytime. And shows that mock any kind of religion usually turn me off completely. But other than that, I usually don't watch a show if I don't like it. Simple as that.
Day 06 - Favorite episode of your favorite TV show
There really isn't a straight answer for this one, either, because how the hell do you pick your favorite episode out of 200+ episodes? I like the show because there's so many good episodes, not because there's one that really stands out to me. I really enjoy episodes from S3/4/5/6 in particular, though S8 was actually enjoyable to me, and S10 has some great moments, and S1 has some real stand-out stuff...IDK. Solitudes. Thor's Hammer. In The Line of Duty. The Tok'ra. The Fifth Race. 1969. Out of Mind. And that's just the first two seasons.
TL;DR I have no favorites. I love it all.
