So, this is another excerpt from my long suffering AU. I need to get this thing done, but I have so many other things on my plate right now.
Steve’s phone rang. He startled from his thoughts, and picked it up. “Hello.”
“Steve! It’s Rachel! I saw him… I know it was him…”
“What? Where are you?”
“The International Market Place. The parking lot at the corner of Kuhio and Kaiulani.”
“We’ll be right there.”
“Thank you. Grace is with me. She didn’t see him. I don’t want her to know.”
“I understand, but she’s smart. She’ll probably figure it out when we suddenly show up.”
