I was pleased to see Carson at the briefing and that he felt better enough to volunteer to go to the Mainland. So it was sad that another flashback was triggered :(. Still, I'm also glad that it's not all easily fixed and they still have a lot to overcome.

I couldn't decide whether to hug Rodney or shake him. I hope we'll get to the bottom of his behaviour. What is his problem with Carson having John's wristbands? Is it simple jealousy that Carson can wear something of John's without eyebrows being raised, or because he wants something to 'claim' him too, or is it something else? And why did he turn around and leave? He can't be upset that John's comforting Carson, surely? Not after John so selflessly left the two of them together the other night. Plus, it's not John's fault that Rodney didn't answer Carson's call for help and he had to call John instead. Yet, this is Rodney, a man full of insecurities and questionable self-worth, so I can see how he might mistakenly believe that he wouldn't be able to contribute to the discussion.
