Warnings: Mention and flashbacks to rape, smut (one with some D/s undertones), major character whumpage, established threesome. This is rape recovery fic. Don't read if that isn't your cuppa. On the other hand, if you're a rape fic fan, this probably won't give you your jollies either, as the focus is on the aftermath, not the rape.
Spoilers: Mention of events in Season 1's "The Eye" and Season 2's "Trinity" and a brief mention of several Season 2 episodes in passing but no true spoilers for them.
Summary: They had rescued him, but they had yet to truly bring him safely home. 61,225 words, 25 chapters.
Author's note: This started out as a plotbunny that I mentioned and fleshed out a bit in a conversation with lillyjk and then later dropped on mice1900 who was adamant that it was a plot that needed to be written and bugged me until I firmed it up and actually started writing it. lapislaz came up with the suggestion to use the term "aleatoric" in the title. This fic was started July 13 and finished September 13.
