See, the trouble with canon is that they believe they have to kill people every damn week for us to care. Or kill a *bunch* of people. Which is so stupid, because if they really wanted to have emotional impact then make each death, and each life, count.

Thanks! I think there is a point, like the Siege arc, where a lot of deaths can have a huge impact if done right.

But I also think the killing gets overdone. I mean, would it have been less tragic in Conversion if the two "death of the week" guys had just been terribly maimed and Lorne had to deal with the fact that he'd ended their military careers? Actually, it might very well have been more tragic and would have explained why they needed to hightail it back to the gate instead of going back into the cave for another try.

So, yeah, I think canon needs to take lessons from me (and how Rodney-esque is that!?).

Well, I'm not sure I'd say Kavanaugh's exactly a nice guy, but nicer than Caldwell, I suppose (even if he did get all squicky when he figured out Radek was with Carson).

Thanks! Gonna take Radek a while to find his equilibrium, I think. But, hey, he's got Carson as well as John and Rodney and others looking out for him.

And, yeah, smut. Had to have some smut. Sometime I should try a whole smut scene that's nothing but dialogue... ;>
