I'm looking for a fanfic where BDSM is considered normal and everyone is in a Dom/sub relationship.

John is the Dom and Rodney is the sub. Something happens and Rodney knows he will be punished so he hides and find excuses to avoid the punishment.

In the end he finds out that John took the punishment for him. I think he was lashed, and punishment

I can't guarantee that it's the same scene, but the incident is referenced in the story General & Dr Sheppard. I am reading Coming Home now, will let you know if I find it.

Well, in chapter 5, the long night, in General and Dr Sheppard it is spoken of again, it might be what I ws remembering. I will have a look again, because I was so sure we got it "live", not just spoken of.

i've looked at it and while it's spoken of in general and dr sheppard I can't find out the actual scene, I'm sure it was in long form but for the life of me I can't find it
