Girl!McKay dating Simpson?
I can't believe I can't find this story - I'm sure it's fairly well known, but delicious has failed me.
It's set in a universe where McKay has always been female. Sheppard is completely obsessed, even though she's not his type. I think there's a line that goes something like "he wanted to bang the shit out of her". At the start of the story she's dating Simpson (I think) but Simpson dumps her spectacularly and Sheppard writes a report with "lesbian breakup melodrama" or words to that effect in it. Then McKay shows up at Sheppard's door and they have smoking hot sex.
I think it was part of a series? If so, I'd really like a link to the series, if anyone recognises it.
Edit: Just remembered a bit - they're about to have sex and Sheppard is blithering about a condom, and there's a flashbackish thing were McKay spent a day saying "And that is why I had my tubes tied"
