I seem to recall that there's a comment!fic sequel to Teamwork by Magus Minor, but I can't find a link for it. Does anyone know where that story can be found?
I think it was originally in their LJ, which is gone. IIRC, I got something that sounds like what you're looking for from another storyfinders search where someone had pasted it in, which I can't now refind. But here's what I've got:

He said the same thing to Sumner and Dr. Weir half an hour later. She was appalled.
"Really, Staff Sergeant, there's no call for that. Your team has more than proven itself."
"Yes," Rodney said gently. "But we don't mind the name, Dr. Weir."
Sumner frowned. "It was a locker room joke, Staff Sergeant. I should have put a stop to it long ago."
Rodney smiled and shook his head. "It hardly matters now. We are Team Misfit, and if it's the misfits who bring food and ZPMs, fair enough."
Sumner frowned. "I'm not sure this is a healthy attitude, McKay. And two members of your team are already sleeping with each other. I believe it's time that your team gets changed a bit. That'll put a stop to this misfit business as well."
Rodney felt a snarl coming on and ruthlessly suppressed it. "I will speak plainly, sir. Yes, you should have put a stop to the hazing. Yes, you should not have let the rest of the military contingent know how little you value this team. Yes, you should not have permitted the garrison to consider us outside of their sphere. But you did, and we adapted. Now the time when you could break us up is gone. We are a unit, the way your team is not, the way no other team is. You split us up, you lose us all." Sumner opened his mouth to interrupt, but Rodney overrode him. "This is not a threat to quit if we don't get our way. All it means is that none of us would function the way we do now in a different team. And that this team is our reason to stay."
Dr. Weir had gone pale. "Do you mean to tell me that you don't care at all for Atlantis?"
Rodney inclined his head to her. "We do care for the city. The people in it, however - they have chosen to shut us out. You should know that better than anyone." She went pale and swallowed hard. Rodney went on. "We aren't angry with you. We never were. But we have had to deal with it, and we dealt by becoming the one team in this city that brought back a ZPM, fruit, crayfish. We dealt. And we are not going back."
He turned to Sumner who was watching him closely. "You mentioned inter-team sex. We know there are rules about that, and we would - once - have followed them. Now? No. You broke your rules first, for the first of these rules is to never leave a man behind. You left us behind, in mind if not in body, and that puts us outside of any of your rules. So - we bend them, bend them till they almost break and then break them with a smile."
He stood up, looking down at them. "If we are split up, we are lost to you. Ask yourselves if it's worth it."
