Cat in bathroom?

Pretty sure this story is AU (no Atlantis) tho I might be wrong there - but the only scene I can remember is Rodney staying in a hotel or something and he keeps his cat in the bathroom. John's in there too (the story, not the bathroom...) Think it's end up as McShep.
