Sheppard Banished

This is a recent story, and one I feel like an idiot for not adding to the S'cubie Board fic recs thread but, uh, I didn't. It starts with Sheppard delivering a foal on a planet which is both physically inhospitable (like a cold desert) and socially dangerous (he has to leave the farm where he was working because the owner's wife watched him working with the mare). A big part of the story describes how dangerous and difficult it is to work, find food, and survive the dangerous environment. It's a great story and I don't want to spoil it by mentioning pairing or outcome; I remember the ending pretty vividly, but won't mention it unless y'all can't find it otherwise.
