Day Hike - Big Cottonwood/Brighton Lakes

So WAY back in July before I went to Austin, firedew1 and I went hiking up near Brighton Ski Resort. From there, you can go up to 3 lakes, Mary, Martha and Catherine. You know my door is open to you hon, if you want to ever experience the wonders of this state (and there are a LOT and its so diverse!) first hand. :D

Yes, we do! That was so much fun! We also need to try and hit the caves before the weather turns. We'll have to set a date when we get together this weekend. :-)

10K, huh? Oh boy ... Yeah, that'll kick the wind out of you! LOL Although, I do think the 65-70 degree angle of ascent had a little something to do with that. My legs are getting sore just thinking about it. heehee

LOL that grade *might* have had something to do with it, yes. ;) but a lot higher than I was reckoning. I was curious so I did a little google searching ;)
