Change of Plans: Thoughts and Caps
Yep, watched it. Been a long time since Joe has been destination TV for me. Missed that. ;)
Change of Plans was exactly what I expected it to be; a sweet, family movie. I really enjoyed it. Am I overcome with squee? No. but the movie (Joe aside) was enjoyable. I liked the kids and there were some really touching moments, especially with Jason and Jordan. Joe was really good in that scene and the girl wasn't half bad either.
I was "meh" about Brooke White she was fine, but I think the kids outshone her and Joe definitely did.
Would I rather see Joe in action adventure type roles? Yeah, but shows like that are my cuppa tea. ;) At the same time I enjoyed seeing him do something different, and I think it was a great project. From what we know he's a pretty committed family man, and this show was right up his alley in that regard.
On a purely superficial note, he was HOT in this movie! LOL Love all the plaid, especially the reddish/pink one. Wow.
And Joe with shades, driving a stick shift convertible muscle car. OMG I have died and gone to heaven!
So I know there were some people that were disappointed but I wasn't. I enjoyed it.
As for caps, I did record the show on DVD when it aired. The caps aren't the best, it was an analog source file, not HD but I went ahead and capped anyway. I'm hopeful to get better caps at some point, at the very least when the DVD comes out in March, but hopefully HD before then. We'll see ;)
