My goodness, oddegg, thank you so much! Believe me, after the blood, sweat, toil and tears of this one, a review like yours is a fantastic reminder of why it was all worthwhile! Especially in that our biggest themes came across for you. Wonderful. :D

If you truly want to write a review for this story, I for one would be honoured. Thank you.

Oh, believe me, I will be more than happy to review! I'll try to keep it at a reasonably intelligent level and not descend into the written equivalent of drawing lots of little hearts all over the paper *g*

I gather from the admin post about reviewing that they haven't quite worked out how these'll be done yet so I'll get on with, keep an eye out for posts regarding it (whilst reading all the rest of this years!) and if you want to contact me between times I can be got hold of at: oddegg/at/livejournal.com.

(Also, could I just ask, has anyone ever done a podfic of Aegis? If they haven't [and assuming I can get my nescient recording skills up to speed] would you be ok with me doing one?)

Hi!

Sorry I didn't respond to this earlier--I've been away. But YES! We'd LOVE a podfic of "Aegis". Are you kidding? That would be fantastic. Thank you so very, very much for even offering!

Yay, a sequel! I loved Aegis and this was a great sequel. I like how everything that happened in the first one influenced this one so much, like John reverting back to not wanting to touch, and him and Conroy still having problems, and Conroy having an almost permanent link to him and Rodney. I love the OCs in this, especially the two women who took care of Rodney when he was kidnapped; the whole part with him and John in the sanctuary, I was waiting for him to realised who John was, and the moment when he did was really satisfying :)

Thank you! I`m so glad that this felt like a true, proper continuation of "Aegis", because we worked very hard for that. And it was Springwoof`s idea that Conroy should have a stronger link to John and Rodney, just to give her credit for a great one. ::G:: Let me also say how pleased I am that you liked the OCs, and that you found Rodney`s return to himself satisfying. That`s the kind of stuff that keeps us writing. :)

I love Aegis, so it was really exciting to read a new story set in that universe! After all the angst for John in Aegis, you really took Rodney to the mill in this one.

I enjoyed how you wove in aspects of various episodes in new ways that fit the new overall plot. The emotional aspects were so nicely done, not just with the SGA characters but with the OCs as well; I was sad during the separation of Amagy and Kestine! And the image near the end of Rodney teaching John how to swim and float was so lovely.

We're immensely pleased that you thought Enthralled was a worthy successor to Aegis. Alas, yes, it was Rodney's turn to feel the angst-burn. Leah will be so pleased with your comments--Amagy and Kestine were her delightful creations! Thank you so much for the lovely comment, it really makes us happy that you enjoyed the story.

*flaily hands of love* This was what I was looking forward to! And boy, did you guys deliver! It was all very angsty and painful and John and Rodney's pain and loss broke my heart. The intervention Ronon and Teyla did with John made me cry. And Rodney's depression at being stuck trying to be someone he wasn't and not remembering who he was was heart rending. And then they finally found each other and themselves again in Sanctuary! And the epilogue was sweet, so sweet. *sighs happily*

We're delighted you enjoyed Enthralled and that you thought we delivered on the promise of a worthy Aegis sequel. Your comments mean a lot to us both. (Although, to be honest, I thought you'd enjoy it for the angst, if nothing else. Leah is truly an AngstMaster, and she really outdid herself here. I blush that some of my angst-work moved you as well.) And, yeah! so glad you enjoyed the epilogue. We really had to make things all better...

once again your story was the one that I rushed to read first. I've been *waiting* on the finished version. I cannot tell a lie a number of times it crossed my mind to beg ask to read the fic in the prep stage, especially when drafts came available during the art first-come-first-to-grab stage. I was torn and almost volunteered to draw for AegisII, but I needed to see the polished version. And it was so worth the wait. Plus dedicated to ME *blush* -- I am honoured.

What did I like? Gee, where to begin? As Seekergeek points out the intervention scene was powerful. And poor, poor Rodney thrall to a grieving psychotic. I did enjoy the way that you interwove the episodes. The epilogue *g* it was worth the wait \o/

Yay! may I mention my tremendous relief that you liked it?
and, darling, I was so, so tempted to ask you to help beta, but it wouldn't have been fair to make you beta a fic that was dedicated to you. However, if you'd like to draw something for it, please feel free; we'd be delighted!

so glad you thought the epilogue was worth the wait! ::dances::

Let me second how much we'd enjoy a drawing, if you wanted! And thank you for wanting to beta, as well. That's so kind. I'm very, very chuffed that you enjoyed the sequel, especially as it honestly wouldn't have existed if you hadn't asked for John and Rodney in water.
