Summary: After gaining his black mark in Afghanistan, John is given the choice between Antarctica or resignation; he chooses to resign. While working as a pilot for his father's company, a freak storm blows up while he is ferrying executives to an island within the infamous Bermuda Triangle, and his helicopter goes down. Now his only hope of rescue lies with a pissy and arrogant astrophysicist he had known for only one glorious night: Rodney McKay.
