Today was just one of those off days, the kind where you were tired but couldn't sleep, were hungry but couldn't eat, and wanted to have something to do that wouldn't make you tired or hungry. So why was she doing this again? It always made her tired and hungry. Oh yes, because there was nothing else to do. It surprised her sometimes how, without missions, her life was so very boring lately.
"One, two, three, four, five, six, seven." Teyla counted out loud as her and a Marine went through the movements to train him in her hand to hand combat. "Very good. Practice and we will try sparring again next time." With that he nodded and left the room, abandoning Teyla to her meditation on the floor.
