Anyway, it was cute to hear that Japanese influenced music just after we see Rodney in his white karate or judo-style outfit. Though, I think he'd be better protected if dressed like Puffy-Xander whenever he trained with Buffy in BtVS.
So ... those icky, spooky tunnels belong to an abandoned mental institution. How ... convenient. I got that from the production notes on GateWorld. Anyway, here's a fun (well, not for him) quote: "It was a fun episode to work on, but the actual location wasn't so hot. We shot in the hollowed out tunnels underneath an abandoned mental institution, which were dark, dank and had this 'stuff' on the walls. After a week, most people's eyes were red and I got sick, so as cool as the story looks, hopefully now audiences will know that there were sacrifices involved in making it look that way!"
