Oh I loved this story. Loved Rodney's 'goodbyes' to Teyla and Ronon (or should I say Aloha).

Thank you. I really hated that there was no interaction between Rodney, Teyla and Ronon in that episode. They had to have their own goodbyes.

What a wonderful story. I really felt the pain of all the team as they had to leave each other. I'm so glad I knew they would be back or it would have been even worse.

I really liked the Rodney/Ronon pairing here. And that Ronon knows the meanings of aloha and tries to retain hope by saying aloha and not goodbye.

I'm so glad you added the last scene when they return to Atlantis. When they said their welcoming alhohas, I teared right up. Beautiful.

Oh, wonderful. Teyla and Rodney having tea together, Ronon with his aloha, the phone conversation between Sheppard and McKay, Rodney using Ronon's bad knees to get the upper hand and Ronon being proud of him. This was an enjoyable read. Thank you. :)

Thank you so much! As much as I love Sheppard/McKay, it's so great to get a good story in this rare but lovely fandom. I'll admit that when I saw it was spoilers for The Return I, I was like, "Oh nooo, it's going to be so depressinggggg!" It was sad and angsty, but there was a lot of hope in it too. I'm glad you showed when Rodney and co. came back to Atlantis too. I was kind of holding my breath thinking, "Will we get to see the reunion?"

For some reason, I especially love this:

Nodding his agreement, Rodney settled back against Ronon's side, Ronon's fingers tracing patterns up and down his back. They stayed like that until it was time to go. Wearing nothing but his low slung leather pants, Ronon walked Rodney back across the room to the door. Leaning down, he kissed him, his lips gentle and his eyes bright. "Try and stay out of trouble."

It's probably because I'm easy, and the image of Ronon in just his leather pants is enough to win me over.

You're very welcome. I'm glad you found something to like. I really tried to make it a McShep story for you, but the muses have minds of their own. And yeah, Ronon in just leather pants is a pretty, pretty picture.
