Oh man, I am absolutely intrigued by the world you've built here. The different Houses, their various relationships, it's all just fascinating to me. I love that, despite Science and War having a bad relationship, John and Rodney are totally getting married, heh. I love that people cheered and cat called when they kissed, and that even in this universe, when she should be constrained by what is proper, Laura is her usual irrepressible self. I really love Rodney stomping his way through the dance floor to cut in on John's dance and then - with some encouragement - kiss him. Even Radek commented on it! Methinks John and Rodney were being quite obvious :P

Fantastic world building, fun plot - I really adore this fic. Definitely going to re-read this one!
