This is just beautiful. I get teary eyed when I read something that works so well for me, and I have the wet Kleenex to prove this one did it for me. Loved the butterflies, and the rock in the middle of the river, and especially Melena's humor and bravery. Well done. You should be very proud of this.

I really love this story. It's beautifully written and so well and thoroughly imagined. I can really see this world. It is sad, as we know what ultimately happened to Melena, but her impact on Ronon carries on.
