I for one would have appreciated it and passed this by (sorry, author, it's just totally not something I appreciate)

Thing is, "genderswap" is a problematic label for what's actually going on, so that wouldn't be an accurate warning (and I couldn't usefully warn for het sex, either (and generally wouldn't anyway), so that left whiteout. I couldn't think of an accurate warning. I tried to cover that with the white-out note to say if you need more information, but am sorry if that was uncomfortable.

Thank you for getting back to me! I wasn't sure (and I'm too impatient sometimes) that you would even see my comment.

I agree that you don't need to 'warn' for het sex, lol, but this does have genderswap in it (maybe not the traditional type, but it still is genderswap), and if I see a fic labeled with that, I know to skip it (because it usually involves het sex while swapped), and this is so not my cup of tea. I know there are others who feel the same, so I just thought I'd mention it. I don't see why you can't include it in the whited out warning note; those who don't care won't read the warning anyway :)

It's fine if you disagree, it's your story and your prerogative :)
