Oh, Santa. I'm still trying to wipe the smile off my face. I know I made an obnoxiously long request, but this is just perfect--there's so much love and joy in this story, and the characterization is down to the letter. It's like a little Christmas cookie of a fic, and I'm so pleased to receive it.

I am so glad you liked the story :)! I have a ridiculous amount of love and affection for this show (which may be in part due to the way I watched it; if I'd been there for all the hiatuses and cancellation drama, I might have been bummed, but because I came in late and mainlined the series in a fortnight I just was in instant, utter love) and I'm glad it helped carry through into the story!

I kind of adore the setup of the Pegasus galaxy in that it's one of a very few fictional universes where I'm genuinely interested in all the cultures in it; none of them are quite cookie-cutter, so it was a lot of fun to focus more on that (and the team's interaction with that) than anything else for a little bit.

But anyway :D, I'm rambling like a fool, the important thing is that I'm really flattered and pleased you like the story :). *hugs*

Hee! Obviously Ronon and John can match each other for sheer juvenile humor. And obviously Ronon has an iron stomach. This was just completely charming.

Ronon and John are just adorable with the periodic bursts of five year old mentality, so I couldn't resist toying with that; and I kind of figure if Ronon had been on the run for seven years, and avoiding other people for much of that, he'd probably have to have a stomach of steel ;).

I think one of the biggest draws for me when it came to Stargate: Atlantis (I mainlined all five seasons inside a fortnight while I was ill, and regret nothing!) was the real, genuine love I felt that the members of the team had for each other. And it's so much fun that John and Rodney are one of the few pairings I love just as much as friends as I do as boyfriends - they're so married with or without a sexual element that I'd adore them either way <3.
