Dear mysterious author, I have to say, I envy tarlanx because this was undoubtedly one of the best SGA fics I have read. The interaction and the angst and the sex (*grin*) it was really perfect all around and once or twice I was seriously going AWWWWW.

I'm in awe of your talent, really. This was the first story posted and I was all like 'oh great, if that is the standard in this fic exchange, then I might as well go ahead and demand my fic back from the mods. Mine is nowhere near that good'. I didn't do that in the end but I still think your fic is exceptional and I meant it when i said it is one of the best SGA fics I've read so far. And I've read A LOT of fics ...

And yes, the AWWWW moments were really great, just like the rest of your fic.

This is such a great story. I loved it. The way they're both feeling the effects of the pressure they're under and see it in each other, but not really in themselves. Beautiful.

Thanks! I think both John and Rodney would be that special kind of oblivious, because, with themselves, they'd see it as just doing their duty and not as something that's wearing them thin, or that other people might worry about.

Rodney's revelation about John at the beginning was nicely done. I love how you followed through and how John saw something similar happening to Rodney. Such a lovely story from beginning to end.
