The expression on Rodney's face takes no special powers to read: it says you're-a-moron loud and clear. "So can I. It's called a lever. You might have heard of it."

*flaps about* Wow. This whole thing is filled with the most wonderful turns of phrase--the hook of Rodney's scent, how his limp shivers up John's leg, the new way John learns to think and feel, and how he fears himself, how Rodney, in the end, cuts straight through to what's important, just the way Rodney always does. And how you've expanded the tag through S4 canon, the different twist that's given to events even in passing... Just, again, wow. What an awesome awesome awesome Christmas present.
