"The narrative was well written, with an interesting POV of the team offworld and just the right amount of creepiness that built up nicely along the way."
"I love the concept behind this story, but the delivery in some ways spoils it, and I don't feel the present tense is the best vehicle for this story. The sense of mystery is also perhaps a little deeply burried, and the threat could be more explicit in order to deliver a really creepy tale."

"The idea was interesting at the start, but I’m not sure what happened at the end. Did one of the team members shoot a bird and why? I wasn’t sure if there was some nasty creature in the air, chasing the wolves or if the wolves were running at the team. What happened to the team at the end?"
"First, this is an interesting take on the prompt by showing nature’s point of view and nature definitely felt imperiled. However, that back and forth between predominantly dialogue by the team and the thoughts and actions of the flora and fauna became confusing. Confusing perhaps because of the passive sentences that did not help move the story along. I re-read this story a few times and found it took a few times to actually capture the spirit I believe the author intended. Good concept that needed more fleshing out; word count limits are so difficult when the concept is complex. I believe this story could have been very good if expanded."

"I like the fact that the author took a stylistic chance with the format and point of view of this story. But I don’t think it was as strongly plotted as the other entries, nor was the conflict quite as strongly portrayed. I also had a problem with the present tense used in the narrative portions. I think a simple past tense would have been smoother."
