Brief Overview
Jennifer Keller takes over the position of Chief of Medicine in season 4.
Basic Information
Jennifer is from Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Her mother died and her father is the only family she has left. She graduated high school when she was 15 and earned her Bachelor's Degree when she was 18. Quietly confident, she quickly learned how to fit in to the strange and exciting world of Atlantis, and had her medical skills and courage tested early on.
Dr. Jennifer Keller's reception by fans was mixed. There were fans who disliked having a replacement for Dr. Carson Beckett and wished for his return. There was also an influx of Firefly fans (the actress, Jewel Staite, also played Kaylee Frye). In addition, the romantic plot surrounding Dr. Keller's character further polarized fans.
