Definitely want: H/C. I'd like to see Sheppard ordered to Area 51, ostensibly to help with Ancient Artifacts, only to become an experiment himself. SGA1 is blocked from coming to earth but somehow Sheppard manages to convey to Atlantis that he's in trouble, possibly through an ancient device the rogue scientists have him activate. Rodney contacts Sam for help.
John's ATA gene with ramifications of his bugification and wraith reverse feeding - possibly he displays enhanced healing abilities for self and others that attract the interest of powerful politicians. Or there is concern among NID or Kinsey types that Sheppard cannot be trusted to obey any order given him, and experimentation ensues to make him malleable. Or both or more. Any reason to get Sheppard in durance vile so that SG1 can come to the rescue despite officialdom turning a blind eye to his circumstances. SG1 going against strong recommendations that they not get interested in Sheppard's circumstances after one of them does see John , who assures them that everything is okay.(Reason why he would mislead them up to the author.)
