Ha, I love the bored (and drunk) Lantean students making transformation devices. That explains so much ... :D

Also, they're unbearably cute as hamsters. Especially Ronon smacking Rodney, and giggly hamster Teyla; that is an awesome image.

Every year Atlantean students would create a device that would somehow change mankind. That was the official brief; the unofficial brief was to see who could make the weirdest device imaginable.
This explains so much. It´s the only thing that makes sense.
