Loved this story! Ronon and John on the run trying to survive was awesome. I love how their positions switched at the end, after John got a dose of the Wraith enzyme (and wow! That was an intense moment!). I could their voices throughout the story, and their interactions with each other were perfect. I also love all the Earth stuff Ronon has picked up and how it always seems to catch John a little off guard. Wonderful story!

Thank you!! Not sure where the switching positions came from, just kind of popped in my head and I then I had to go with it. I had a lot of fun writing this one and I'm happy to hear that the stuff I wanted to come through apparently did.

Ooh, that was very fun and exciting and tense! I adore survival stories and cat-and-mouse chases in the wilderness. I love how you handle the friendship and trust between John and Ronon, and the way they lean on each other. I also really love the way that the team's closeness is evident even when they're separated.

Thanks! I've wanted to do a John and Ronon survival story for a while. And you just gave me an idea for a much better title - I struggled with that until I finally just gave up. Where were you a few weeks ago (LOL). At least writing the story was fun!

This was a fun adventure! Despite the increasingly dire circumstances, the banter was still there and it was nice to see both John and Ronon take turns helping one another. I loved the role reversal with the enzyme, with John taking the lead and the whole situation was done perfectly without veering into over dramatics. It was nice to see time devoted to recovery, with a nice team ending.

Many thanks! Glad you liked the role reversal - that was so much fun. I was afraid I'd overdone it, so I'm glad to hear it worked. And I always love the recovery part!!

Wonderful story. It balanced action and drama with beautifully written friendship. Characterization was wonderful and I adored the connection between John and Ronon. It was a real bonus that there was so much attention given to the aftermath of the incident and other related events in their lives. It was one of those stories with such flow to it that I lost myself entirely in the tale.

Okay that last sentence just made my night. It's what you strive for, but never really know if you've achieved. Many thanks!! I love the Ronon and John friendship and have wanted to address it for a while now. Glad I got the chance.

I really loved this! Tense, exciting and lots of fun! For me that is, not the boys! LOL! Lovely banter, wonderful friendship and a strong sense that these men wanted to survive against all the odds. Loved Shep getting dosed with the enzyme... that was very nicely done! I'm very pleased you decided to spend some time on the recovery part, it just rounds it off perfectly for me. When I sometimes read '2 weeks later' I go, 'awwww nooooooo! I want recovery in the infirmary!' Lol! I'm terrible! So it was an extra thrill to get what I wanted here. An exciting, well-rounded and thrilling story which left me feeling very happy! Thanks for sharing! :)

Me too! You have to have some recovery to really complete any whump story. I believe in both parts of the hurt/comfort story. It's what I hate about TV shows cause that's the part they always leave out. Anyway, many thanks. I love it that enjoyed all the parts I wanted people to see in the story - makes my day!!!
