Oh poor John. His team have the worst luck when it comes to any ceremonial occasion in Atlantis!

This was great :D

Really loved this - nice to see a story where Sheppard is seriously effected by all the stress he continuously lives under. The little glimpses of how the others were reacting to their own stress and exhaustion were perfect. Loved Ronon jumping up in the middle of a meeting twirling his gun. :D

Thanks. I figured the Pegasus Galaxy was going to take a toll in some way - for everyone. I enjoyed trying to portray the small ways in which each of them might be showing signs of stress. The part about Ronon made me chuckle as soon as I thought of it.

Poor John. He tried so hard only to be betrayed by his own body. This was a fun read. I love and exhausted and stressed John, especially if it leads to him being ill ;)

"I love and exhausted and stressed John, especially if it leads to him being ill ;)"

Me too. He really would put that much pressure on himself for his team's reputation.

I really loved this story. It was just what I needed after a stressful day. I loved the team interaction here, and the voices of the characters sounded so true to me. It's nice to see a story where Sheppard feels the ramifications of his life in the Pegasus Galaxy VERY personally! He's human and it's refreshing to see that. I loved the team banter and friendship too. Thanks so much for sharing! :)

Thank you. I think that heroes don't escape ramifications. They do what they do in spite of the ramifications. Sheppard is no exception. I enjoyed writing the team banter. They're so much fun as a team.

Ronon and John fighting boredom in the meeting was great! Poor Elizabeth is really like their mom some days. You could almost feel John working himself into a frenzy worrying about the flower stuff worked into the dishes and where/how to tell Carson. Loved his team taking care of him when he was sick and him being embarrassed when he found out why he was sick. It was neaat the way you worked John's exhaustion into the storyline of the show.
