Wow, talk about your Canada-U.S. relations... This is it, exactly! Poor Rodney, willing to sell himself for the chance to get at the Stargate. Makes me want to re-watch "48 Hours" right now :)

Great story!

Thank you. ;) I only saw 48 hours with the past couple of months, and was struck by how much he looked like one of the dot com wannabes from the late 90s. I guess those images went in the hopper, and this is what came out.

You don't have a soul....bwhaha! Damn right he doesn't! And I love him for it.

And Rodney did get hard looking at the Stargate, you know it.

I'm sure that Rodney is occasionally hard during design meetings, or when he has a really good idea. He's just wired that way. ;) Thanks~

Well, it turns me on, so it should him. Ya know? [and Sheppard]

So that's why John is hanging around the design review meetings! I'd wondered.

Loved this. Spot-on Rodney, and I liked to see the, er, "recruitment technique" of the SGC, which sounds just as true as Rodney's history does.

Thanks! I can so see Rodney as part of the dot com migration of tech workers out of Canada and into the states; to me, it feels like he should have been here then, with the way money was flying around and the wackiest projects were being funded.

And as far as Simmons goes, well, he has his own techniques. *g*
