Oh, wow. This was a joy to read.

Harroll is a wonderful character, and his story is so sad. You did such a great job telling the story from his pov; I love John and Rodney in this - it's so them - but Harroll's story was just as poignant and pertinent, to me. Excellent, excellent piece.

I was trying to pick out a favorite phrase, but I can't because I love every word, here. Maybe this:

"Listen, about that whole being in love thing…"

"I’m not," Rodney blurted out, sounding a little intoxicated. "I mean, I’m not in love with Jennifer."

"Yeah, I kind of caught a clue about that," John admitted with a grin.

"What about you?" Rodney asked hopefully.

"I’m not in love with Jennifer, either."

So cute. :)

and this:

When John dropped his forehead to rest on Rodney’s chest, Rodney placed his hand heavily on the back of Sheppard’s neck

So deliciously sweet.
