This is really cool! I had also been thinking along similar lines ("Inquisition" AU in which they've found guilty) but what stalled me out was that I didn't like the punishment from the episode and the most reasonable alternative that I could come up with, "death", made for a rather uninteresting (and short!) story. *g* I really like what you've done here, though -- Teyla is perfectly herself, despite her new youth and amnesia, and I do hope that at some point you might be inspired to write more on it.

Thanks very much! Yeah, I didn't want to write a story with the actual punishment, just because I felt that it would have to be at least partially about them struggling to survive, and I quailed at the level of research that would require. So this version was basically more fun for me to write. *sheepish*

Thank you! I might write more, but I'm not sure yet. The story in my head is kind of epic, and therefore intimidating.

Oh, I've very impressed that such a poorly crafted episode led to such a wonderful plot for you. I do hope that you continue this story, because I would love to see how the youthened team fairs, and if they ever get back to themselves and Atlantis.

Thank you! I didn't much like Inquisition as an episode either, but the AUs that could come out it are cool.
