Awww, nicely understated h/c, and I love the team taking care of Rodney, and Rodney's refusal to see it for what it is.

Obviously Team Taking Care is pretty much my biggest button - and I do love the way Rodney can so easily misinterpret even the people he loves. Also it was good to shut him up for a bit, to force John to speak up and explain...don't know how long it would've taken him otherwise!

Oh, one thing I also forgot to mention (I was going to edit the comment, but you beat me to it with your answer) is how much I loved the truncated Rodneyspeak in the messages he was writing on the tablet. It was just so adorably him.

*laughs* I kind of love Rodney limited to typing, and John having to talk twice as much to fill the silence. Really the entire fic was going to be just the beginning and that last 'conversation', but it kind of got away from me...
